History of creation

I worked on this book for a long time, about seven years. I had a difficult task: to tell the truth and do it in a way that would ignite at least a sparkle of compassion in the hearts of readers.

I dedicate this book to all animal rights activists, veterinarians, and volunteers who care for homeless animals. Each of them could be the hero or heroine of this or such a book.

Lviv Municipal Enterprise “Lev”

"This book shows how much people still need to understand about homeless animals and the enormous scale of this problem. Street cats and dogs are often overlooked, although in reality they are a source of unconditional happiness for anyone who opens their heart to them."

The harmonious coexistence of animals and humans is the manifestation of civilization and humanity that we strive for."

Maria Vronskaya,

owner of “Gostomel Shelter”

"Today, there are far more animals in need in Ukraine than volunteers and shelters can reach. This story proves that anyone can save. Yes, it's hard, but the rescue itself never exhausts. On the contrary, every life saved inspires and gives strength.

"Let's do everything possible to ensure that there are more and more people who respect animals! We need to develop the values of kindness and humanity so that our society does not lose itself."

Design

The book has a colored cover. The pages of the book are black and white, with cute initials and minimalistic decor in a cat style.
